Paid Series

This is a seven unit series with 21 people who stay together as a co-hort and range from 60-90 minutes each, held every other week.

  1. Holiday Gift Opening: How might it have felt to receive presents that affirmed your interests and identity, rather than gender-typical gifts that felt disconnecting?
  2. Shopping for Clothes: What if shopping for clothes was a joyful experience where you could freely explore the sections that resonated with your identity? How might it have felt to have parents or caregivers who celebrated your choices and helped you find outfits that expressed your authentic self?
  3. First Day of School: What if you walked into class wearing exactly what felt right, were introduced with your correct name, and assigned to activities that honored your identity?
  4. School Picture Day: How might it have felt to prepare for photos with haircuts, clothing, and poses that authentically represented you, and to proudly display those photos at home?
  5. School Sports Team/PE Class: What if you could participate on teams or in physical activities aligned with your gender identity, wearing uniforms that felt right?
  6. Prom or School Dances: How might you have dressed, moved, and connected at dances if you were embraced as yourself? Who would you have brought as your date, and how would you have been introduced to others?
  7. Sleepovers & Friend Gatherings: How might friendship have felt when you could authentically share secrets, wear comfortable sleepwear, and be included in all activities? What connections might have been possible?
  8. Swimming Pool/Beach Day: What would it feel like to wear swimwear that felt comfortable and affirming, and engage in water activities without body anxiety?
